Description
The term “smart road” refers to infrastructure equipped with technology systems designed to improve the safety and utility of roads, as well as their sustainability, through digital transformation (DT: a dynamic process providing modern services and solutions). Underlying the DT process is the creation of suitable enabling structures/platforms with which to equip the smart road, allowing implementation of a range of functionality to provide services meeting the modern requirements of road users. Euroimpianti has been selected to supply and install technology systems along the A90 and A91 Motorways.
